As AI becomes an everyday tool in teaching and learning, and with IELTS in Vietnam now fully computer-based, embracing technology in the classroom is no longer optional – it is the path every teacher must take to stay relevant and effective.

Recognizing this, VUS organized the “Integrating AI into Teaching and Learning IELTS” workshop – a space where teachers could learn, exchange, and explore how to inspire students in the digital age.

Exploring AI Tools for Smarter Teaching

Teachers explored a range of AI-powered tools and applications designed to assist in lesson creation, content adaptation, and student assessment. From generating reading comprehension tasks to analyzing writing samples, these tools showcased how AI can simplify preparation and enable teachers to focus on what matters most – meaningful interactions with students.

Mastering the Art of Prompting

Effective prompting is the bridge between human creativity and AI capability. Teachers practiced writing prompts that are clear, purposeful, and pedagogically sound, learning how to guide AI tools to produce outputs aligned with lesson objectives and learner levels.

This hands-on segment helped teachers see AI not as a replacement, but as a collaborative partner that amplifies human teaching potential.
