Recognizing this, VUS recently hosted an enriching workshop titled “Promoting Wellbeing in English Classrooms: Practical Strategies for Teachers”.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Ha Vinh Tho, the Founder of Eurasia Learning Institute, a former Program Director at the Gross National Happiness Centre of Bhutan, and former Director of Learning and Development at the International Red Cross. As an internationally acclaimed speaker and book author, Dr. Tho brought a wealth of expertise to the session.
During the workshop, participants gained valuable insights and practical tools centered on emotion-based educational practices. The session explored strategies for cultivating joyful, open, and positive learning environments, empowering students to thrive academically while developing into empathetic individuals who care deeply about their communities and the environment.
