Β Mr. Nguyen Cong Hieu, BA in English Linguistics and Literature at The University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Ho Chi Minh City and MA in TESOL at Victoria University, has been a dedicated member of the VUS family for over 21 years. Mr. Hieuβs goal is to inspire students on their journey to success using English as a tool.
Β Being a teacher at VUS for over two decades, Mr. Hieu has witnessed many of his students finish their studying and return to VUS at a higher position:
βMany of my students have now become my colleagues at my own campus. Some of them are teachers, some of them are teaching assistants. Everytime they see me, they still call me βteacherβ because they have learned a lot from me. Itβs very rewarding for me to receive such an honor.β

Β As the only female teacher in the Digidation – a Coding program at VUS Binh Minh, Ms. Le Thanh Van stands out with her devoted teaching style. Over the course of four working months, her everyday joy comes from seeing her studentsβ delight:
βDuring classes, especially where lessons are related to famous movie characters, my students always show a great amount of understanding and interest. Witnessing the level of engagement of my students is an indication that I have effectively delivered the lesson, and the feeling is indescribable.β

Β With a BA in English Language Teaching at Sai Gon University and years of experience, classroom interactions have gone beyond pure teaching-learning interaction in Mr. Vu Quoc Daiβs classes. Students often share with him about their daily life:
"One day, a student came to me and showed me a beautiful dress, saying it was a gift from her parents for her good performance in midterm tests. She said it was her dream to get good marks, and that moment brought me a sense of joy knowing I have become a trusted βfriendβ for students to share their stories with."
