Job requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching; or
- Bachelor Degree in English Language Studies (a teaching certificate can be provided later)
- Weekday evenings and weekend availability
Duties
- Use provided materials designed for students, following international standard teaching frameworks
- Organize teaching and learning activities that help enhance students’ English proficiency, creating a communicative and engaging learning environment
- Participate in training and professional development activities to meet VUS’ teaching competency standards

FAQs
The job requirements for Vietnamese teachers are as follows:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching; or
- A Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Studies (a teaching certificate can be provided later)
- Availability on weekday evenings and weekends
Candidates who do not major in English Language but hold a teaching certificate can still apply; however, those who meet the requirements listed above are preferred in the recruitment process.
An international English certificate is not compulsory to apply. However, an IELTS band score of 7.5 or above is preferred.
Regarding job requirements, experience is a plus.
VUS TAs and TAs at other centers who meet the following requirements can apply for a teaching position at VUS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English Language Teaching; or
- Bachelor Degree in English Language Studies (a teaching certificate can be provided later)
- Weekday evenings and weekend availability
