Binh Duong is located just to the north of the largest city of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City. It is considered a satellite of HCMC, being only 15 kilometres from Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport and 25 kilometres away from the centre of HCMC, which means a day trip to Saigon can be made on weekends.
