Daily Transportation
Embrace the town’s laid-back vibe by cruising on a motorbike, your trusty companion for exploring the quaint streets and hidden gems. Cuisine
Hue boasts a rich culinary tradition that reflects its royal heritage and influences from various regions of Vietnam. Due to its history as the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty, Hue cuisine often features dishes that were once reserved for royalty. These dishes are characterized by their intricate preparation, delicate flavors, and elegant presentation.
Some signature dishes include Bun Bo Hue, perhaps the most famous dish from Hue. It’s a spicy beef noodle soup featuring a rich broth made with lemongrass, shrimp paste, and chili oil, served with beef slices, pork knuckles, and thick rice noodles. Other delicious dishes include Com Hen, Banh Khoai, and Banh Beo. Hue cuisine emphasizes the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including herbs, vegetables, seafood, and meats. The freshness of the ingredients contributes to the vibrant flavors of the dishes.
Tourist Attractions

There are a plethora of attractions for tourists to explore. At the heart of the city lies the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Imperial City, a vast complex of palaces, temples, and walls that once served as the seat of the Nguyen Dynasty.
The Perfume River, which flows through the city, is another focal point, offering scenic boat cruises and opportunities to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, an iconic seven-story pagoda perched on a hill overlooking the river. Additionally, Hue is home to several royal tombs, such as the Tomb of Khai Dinh and the Tomb of Minh Mang, renowned for their architectural beauty and historical significance.

Beyond its imperial heritage, Hue boasts vibrant markets, including Dong Ba Market, where visitors can sample local delicacies and shop for traditional crafts. With its blend of cultural landmarks, natural beauty, and culinary delights, Hue offers a captivating experience for tourists seeking to immerse themselves in Vietnam’s rich heritage.
Special Events

Hue hosts several special annual events that showcase its cultural heritage and attract visitors from around the world. One of the most prominent events is the Hue Festival, held every two years to celebrate the city’s cultural diversity and history. The festival features a vibrant array of performances, including traditional music, dance, theater, and street parades, along with exhibitions of local arts and crafts.
Another significant event is the Hue Traditional Craft Festival, which highlights the city’s craftsmanship and artisanal traditions through workshops, demonstrations, and exhibitions showcasing various traditional crafts such as pottery, silk weaving, and wood carving.
